With young Joey 'Jay unable to losf Double Drill Today for Gophers MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota's Gophers had their last two- a-day practice sessions today as they prepared for the opener against Washington Sept. 27. A big scrimmage is set for Saturday, and next week the gridders will taper off on a one drill a day schedule. Thursday two quarterbacks engaged in a long passing session.
