Aiken on Wednesday of next weeki May .10th! .Invited "to attend the Convention also arc the Mayors of the. various Cities and tovimS> and the Recorders, The -Convention Headquarters Headquarters will be at the Commercial Hotel, and Ernest L. Allen, Secretary Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Weather&ord, Ernest R. Hafers, Hafers, Chairman of Police Committee, and M. L. Kibler, Chief of Police, are arranging the details' of th« Convention and.the entertainment propram. The program will be published published next week in these columns. The Convention will hold its sessions sessions in the Commercial Hotel Ball Room, and at 6:00 o'clock on the afternoon afternoon of May 10th, a barbccuo dinner will be .served to the visitors. On the evening of the 10th n dance wil> be tendered at the Commercial Ball room, and Miss Nana Clark will jjive a few special numbers. It is expected that about 100 or 125 visitors will be here for the occasion, occasion, and a very full program has been arranged by the local Committee, acting with Chief Rick Mclver, of Florence, who is President President of the State.
