Nealie Parks Prater
Mrs. R.G. Prater Claimed by Death; Rites at 9 Tuesday Mr§. Nealle Parks Prater of 1709 Austin, lifelong resident of Brownwood, died in a local rest home at 7 a.m. today. Funeral services will be held t a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Davis-Morris Funeral Home with Rev. Wm. H. Orton, pastor of the Austin Avenue Presbyterian Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial ill be in Greenleaf Cemetery. Mrs. Prater, 79, was born here April 19, 1877, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. C Parks, pioneer settlers of Brown County. She was the wife of the late R. G. (Bob) Prater, a cotton buyer here. He died in 1936. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs J. J. Timmins and Mrs. Lida Parks Dildy, both of Brownwood Mrs. Prater had been a mem her of the Austin Avenue Presby terian Church since 1891.
