Widow of Noted Contractor . . > Vas Resident of Tttis AFTER ILLNESS OF LESS THAN WEEK City 50 Years i j Mrs. Katherine Eveler, 73. died her home 419 West High Street at' 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon of pneumonia. Mrs. Eveler became ill a week ago of influenza and developed developed pneumonia only a few days ago. Katherine Laux Eveler was born near Taos, June 5, 1860 to Mr. and Mrs. George Laux. She grew to young womanhood there and married married John V. Eveler, who was for Eveler died January 4, 1920. many years a prominent building j contractor in Jefferson City. Mr. i Mrs. Eveler is mourned by one daughter, Mrs. Henry McMichael of Des Moines, la., and one son, Paul Eveler of Jefferson City. Sixi brothers, Peter Laux of Glennvule,! Mo., Louis, George, John, Henry land Edward Laux of Jefferson City and one sister, Mrs. Rose Jordan of Topeka, Kan., also survive her. The remains were taken to the Heinrichs Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements had not been perfected perfected last night. She was a con-! sistant member of St. Peters Church j and of the Ladies Altar Society. i j
