Funeral Services for S. D. Maxwell Special to Record-Chronicle. AUBREY. March 1.—S. D. Maxwell, long-time resident of Aubrey, "vho died at his home Friday morning after an illness of many months, was born in Jackson County. Alabama, Sept. 18, 1859, and -was married to Miss Dorcas Partin Sept. 22, 1879. Ten children were born to this union: Haskell Maxwell of Denton, John Maxwell of Fort Worth, Robert Maxwell of Haskeli, Collin Maxwell of Lebanon, Mrs. Pearl Yancey of Dentcn. Mrs. Ida Starr of Whitewflght, Mrs. Bertha Johnson of Denton, Mrs. Ethel Johnson of Sangtr, Mrs. Effie Grey of Ardmore, Okla., and Thomas Maxwell, deceased. On May 30, 1917, the mother of these children died and he married again. Sept. 11, 1918, to Miss Ida Blanks of Aubrey. Maxwell came to Texas and settled in "Denton County in 1893. The funeral services were held in the Christian Church of Aubrey, of which he had been a member for. years. The services were, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Mr. Moore, assisted by Rev. L. B. Tcoley, pastor of the Methodist Church. Burial Was in the Belew cemetery.
