Esmond VICTORIA. -- Alvin Claude Esmond, 89, died at 6 a.m. today today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. J. M. Schedler, after a long, illness. -Esmond, a native of Capron, Ill., : moved here in 1957 from Harvard, 111, He was a resident of Manawa,\ Wis., .before moving moving to Harvard. · Esmond was a retired plant superintendent for the Borden Co. in Manawa, a firm, for he worked 46 years. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church here, of which his brother-in-law, brother-in-law, the Rev, J. M. Schedler, Schedler, is -pastor. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Trinity Lutheran Lutheran Church with the Rev. Schedler officiating. The body will be taken tomorrow night to the .Schutt, McFarland and Saunders Funeral Home in Harvard Harvard for funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn City Cemetery in Harvard. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Schedler, is another daughter, Miss Gladys M. Esmond of Milwaukee,. Milwaukee,. Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Smith of Oregon, and two grandchildren. McCabe - Carruth Funeral Home is in charge of local funeral funeral arrangements. Pallbearers for local services will be Herman Johnson, Roy S c h e r e r, Edward Frogge, dairy Charles Rippamonti, Henry R. Roell and B. D. Hart.
