1888 Nov 20 Faulkner, Elijah hit by a train
Elijah Faulkner, a farmer who resides west of the city, encountered two trains running in opposite directions ou the tracts of the Pittsburg and Fort Wayne road last night. He stepped out of the way of one and was struck by the locomotive locomotive of the other. Aside from being pitched into the ditch and a fracture of the left elbow. Mr. Faulkner is none the worse off. He walked to bis home after Dr. W. H. Myers dressed his injured limb.
