Ater Miss Joann Lynnetie Miller, daughter of Garnclt Miller, 1625 71st Ave., and Stewart Bruce Ater, son of Mrs. Marjory Aler of Denver, were married Saturday afternoon, March 4, in a double ring ceremony performed by Roy Lani'er of Denver, at the bride's home. La La Le Club Members Hear Two Lessons Members of the La La Lc Extension llomemakers Club who-attended the March meet- in;; at the home of Mrs. Ronaldj Felte heard informative lessons given by Mrs. Warren Adams and Mrs. Irving Payne who discussed "Landscaping" and Mrs. Jim lirehon whose lesson was on "Housekeeping Personality." Mrs. Paulcltc Yauk w guest al the meeting. Following the business sions, those present spent an entertaining and interesting time tasting fondue cookery made by Mrs. Felte, Mrs. Payne and Mrs. Brehon. Mrs. Stewart Boulter won the hostess gift, and Mrs. Adams received a birthday gift. The next meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. April 12 at the home of Mrs. -Maurice Leffler. Roll call will be anssvered with a report on vitamins. Bev Bunting played nuptia music on the piano. Attendants were two bridesmaids, Miss Darlene Miller and Miss Judy Wisdom, and Alan Miller brother of the bride, as best man. A reception for 50 guests was held later in the evening. Special guests present included Ihe bridegroom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ewer oi Denver, and Mr. and Mrs. lirice Swank of Greeley and S. 0. Miller of Loveland. The. bride was Valedictorian of her class at West High School n 1969, and later attended Abilene Christian College and the University of Colorado where she is now a junior prc- medical studenl and is also employed in the biochemistry department. A t e r attended Denver community college before enrolling at CU as a premed major. He is a member of Phi Bela Kappa; and Alpha Epsilon Delia, prc-medical honor society. At CU he has been employed by the Colorado U n i v e r s i t y Medical School deparlmenl of neurology. The ncwlywcds spent a brief honeymoon in Colorado Springs, then went to Boulder where they will live until June, then go to St. Louis, Mo., where both will enroll at Washington University. M A R R I E D IN DENVER - Miss Delia Doney, of Mrs. Irene Doney, 101 21st Ave., and the lale Victor Doncy, was married Saturday, March 18, to Glen Galey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Galey of La Salle. The Rev. William Cuzner .Jr. officiated at 'the nuptial riles al the Highland Christian Church. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Waller Taylor of Denver. Tiic bridegroom is employed by C'owaii Concrete.
