Lubbock To Be Home Of New Couple LITTLEFIELD, June 5 (Special)— Miss Sue Carole Henry and Norman Gale Orr were married in a double ring ceremony at the First Methodist Church Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, j The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Horace H. Henry and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo W. Orr. The altar of the church was decorated with tall baskets of yel- low crysanthemums and tropical greenery. On either side stood candelabra. The service was read by the Rev. Harry Vanderpool, pastor of the church. Miss Truday McGee played the traditional wedding music at the organ and accompanied Miss Gurene Allen as she sans "I Love You Truly," "Because," and "The Lord's Prayer." The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore an original ballerina-length dress of Chantilly lace over nylon tulle and taffeta. The fitted bodice was fashioned with short sleeves and b tiny stand-up collar. Her fingertip veil was of nylon tulle fastened to a heart snap- ed coronet tiara of velvet ribbon i and orange blossoms. She car- : ried a white Bible decorated with ', a white orchid and white satin ribbon streamers. Mrs. Walter Coin, of Greenville, Miss., attended her sister > as matron of honor. Her dress I was of powder blue organdy made I over a bouffant skirt of taffeta. The full skirt was gathered to the fitted bodice which was designed with a square neckline and puffed sleeves. She carried a bouquet of pink pom poms. The bridesmaids were Miss Alice Faye Orr, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Dorothy Bitner. They wore dresses of pink organdy over taffeta which were identical in design to the dress worn by the matron of honor. They carried bouquets of blue pom poms. Miss Judy Lumsden was flower girl, wearing a green organdy riress and a clip of yellow rosebuds in her hair. Coy Dean Orr served his brother as best man. Ushers and candlelighters were Jackie Beckner and Jim Doherty. Following the ceremony a reception was held by the bride's parents. Miss Dorothy Foltyn ! registered the guests. Mrs. Orr is a graduate of Littlefield High School, receiving her diploma last week. The groom is also a graduate of Littlefield High School and is a pre-med student at Texas Tech. Both Mr, and Mrs. Orr plan to attend Tech next fall.
