RITCHEY Mr. and Mrs. Orwin Miller and little daughter have motored to Pueblo, Colo., to visit relatives. They wen accompanied by Miss Esther Callaway. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Alburty of oplin spent, the week-end with the ormer's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. •Vlburty. Herschel McClure of Chicago and larl McClure of Peirce City visited with relatives here Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Hunter L. Johnsoi and son of Tulsa, Okla., spent several days with realtives here recent- y. Rev. E. C. Tichenor and family of Wheaton visited in this community Tuesday. Wm. Armstrong of Coffoyville spent two days of last week hero with his father, J. C. Armstrong. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wilson and daughter, Maxine, of Independence, Kan., are spending this week at the home of Mrs. Nannie Wasson. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Douthitt and family attended the reunion at Cassville last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Adams were shopping in Poirce City Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Wasson of Neosho and Jim Wasson of Springfield, visited with relatives he-re Sunday. Mrs. Claude Pierce of Azusa, Cal., arrived Tuesday to spend a few weeks with her mother, Mrs. Lucinda York. Mrs. Fred Sikes of Joplin, Mrs. John Goade and Mrs. Ordie Dillworth of Duenweg were visiting relatives here recently. Mrs. Martha Wilson of Wichita, Kan., is visiting this week with her niece, Mrs. Elizabeth Douthitt. Vora and Orville Hardy of Stella are visiting relatives here. Rev. H. Pinkston, pastor of the Rltchey Presbyterian church, has been given a vacation of two weeks. He will resume his work here the third Sunday in September. Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Bailey of Tulsa are spending the week at the home- of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bailey. Mrs. Amelia Sanders had the following guests last. Sunday afternoon: Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Buxton, Mrs. Sam Reynolds, Margaret Reynolds and Mrs. M. F*. Graves of Noosho, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Walker of Aurora, Mrs. Susan Beuven of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Paul Campbell and son, Paul, Jr., of Lincoln Nob.; Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Douthitt and daughter, Margaret, of Edinond, Okla,; Ina and Harold Douthitt of Berwick, Mr. and .Mrs. Oliver Gulick and daughter, Helen, of Monett; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Nimmo and daughter, Rachel, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Largon and daughter, Eliza, and son, Otis. After a pleasant afternoon the crowd went to the creek where a picnic supper was served.
