DOUTHITTS CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Thirty-three relatives of James an<1 Mary Douthitt gathered at their home near Ritchey last Friday evening, evening, to celebrate their golden wedding wedding anniversary with a fine six o'clock dinner. Those present were Bruce Douthitt and family of Diamond, Diamond, Clyde Douthitt and family of Ritchey, W. C. Douthitt and family oT Berwick, Mrs. Floyd Nlmmo and and family of Neosho, E. W. Morris and family of Diamond and Miss Alice Elliott, a sister to Mrs. Douthitt Douthitt Mr. and Mrs. Douthitt displayed many of the things they started housekeeping with, one of them being being a cake pan and the receipt used for their wedding cake. This old pan and receipt were used for a delicious cake. Mr. and Mrs. Douthitt were married married February 3rd, 1878, by Rev: Thomas at Berwick, Mo., and lived on a farm near that place for four years, and then moved to their farm where they have lived for the past forty-six years. To this union nine children were born, four of whom died in infancy, leaving five boys: Clay of Beatrice, Nebr., Kirk of Cassville, Mo., Clyde of Ritchey, Mo., Bruce of Diamond, Mo., and Byrd of Detroit, Mich.
