Father and Son Are Hurt Family Quarrel CLEBURNE, June 6.—(/P)—J. G. Shirley, 63, and his son, Bardin Shirley, 23, were wounded critically last night in a shooting which purportedly resulted from a family quarrel at their home four miles south of Burleson. They •were taken to Fort Worth hospitals for treatment. Bardin Shirley, shot In the abdomen, was said to have a chance for recovery, but his father, wounded in the head, was in a very grave condition. Deputy Sheriff Dick Hamilton of Burleson, who investigated the affair, was told that Bardin Shirley was shot when he intervened in a dispute between his mother and father. The officer was informed the father wounded himself.
