Smith, here Manon Smith Is spending the holiday period with his parent« here. Mrs. Sadie Gallagher wa« a guest of her daughter, Mrs. H. N. Goach- cr and family of Jacksonville New Years day. Miss Wilma Jackson is a guest of her brother, Claude Jackson and family In Detroit, Mich. Mrs. Sam Morris, who is a twin sister to Miss WTilma Jackson, and who also is a sister of Mrs. Edward Irlam, is improving from an operation for relief from appendicitis. Mrs. H. L. Owings and daughter. Virginia, spent New Year's day with relatives in St. Louis. They were accompanied home by Mr. Owings and daughter Elizabeth, who have been spending the past week with Mr. Owings* mother, Mrs. J. W. Owings, and other relatives.
