Word has been received in Alton of the death of Mrs. Elsworth E. Floyd at Decatur, March 14th. She was Miss Nellie Dudley, a daughter of George W. Dudley, formerly a resident of Washington avenue in Alton. She leaves five children, two girls and three boys. Her marriage took place in the old home in Upper Alton, October 7, 1897. She was a graduate of the o'd Alton Conservatory of Music, also of Upper Alton High School antl is remembered by many of her old friends in Alton. of look carry
