ANOTHER VICTIM CLAIMED A Spanish Resident Near Colton Found Dead by the Santa Fe Track Yesterday Morning. No One Saw Him. Tablo Trujillo, aged 4S, a well known Spanish resident of Agua Mansa, was instantly killed Monday night, at 7:30 o'clock, by the Santa Fe train from Orange. The badly mangled remains were discovered lying beside the track by the section men early yesterday morning. How Trujillo could have walked squarely Into the path of death, as he evident- ly did, is one of the inexplicable happenings that will never be satisfactorily solved. Trujillo had been about the streets of San Bernardino all of Monday and went to Colton in the afternoon and thence to his home, near Agua Mansa. He went to Colton In the evening and made some purchases. He was following a footpath acroHS the Santa Fe track towards his home, when he was struck by the passenger train. Upon examination of the remains it was found that the body bad been thrown about l!i foot to the side of the track. The skull was crushed, the neck broken, the left arm broken, the right leg broken and the right hip crushed. A wound In the abdomen gave rise to the murder theory, as the Injury was thought to have been inflicted with a knife. Coroner Thompson, Sheriff Rouse and Deputy District. Attorney Duckworth all hastened to the scene of the accident yesterday and after careful investigation, the murder suspi cion was dispelled. Attorney H. V. Nisbet also Investigated the accident, at the request of the relatives of tin; deceased, nnd he Is satisfied that the man was killed by the train. The Coroner summoned the following Jurors nnd the Inquest was begun yesterday: W. 1.. Zadler, Fred Italph, J. Rolfe, M. A. Doty, A. V. U'Rcn, A. Rever and W. It. Fox. The local witnesses were examined yesterday, but the trainmen, including the crew of the passenger train, the trainmaster and dispatcher, will testify before the Jury tomorrow. Trujillo leaves a wife and four children. The deceased had been something of a politician In the Democratic circles of bis neighborhood anil had been appointed by die Supervisors, as an Inspector at the coming election.
