Goodman Announces For Re-Election The Democrat is authorized to announce announce the candidacy of Judge J. L. Goodman for re-election as Representative Representative of this county in the Forty- third Legislature, and we take pleasure pleasure in placing his name in our columns, columns, and in calling attention to the announcement in this article. Born in Alabama, and coming to' Robertson county perhaps fifty years or more ago, Judge Goodman has been | one of the county's most useful and honored citizens during his entire residence here, hence needs no words of commendation from us. Serving many years as public prosecutor prosecutor for the county, for several terms as County Judge, many years ago a term or two in the Legislature, and now representing this county in that body, Judge Goodman has been connected in a useful way with our county affairs for half a century, and during all that time no one has arisen to question his integrity, nor his high patriotism, and during the years ho has acquired an experience in public affairs that readily stamp him as one of the most valuable men in that very important legislative body, hence— in the opinion of this editor—our citizenship citizenship is exceedingly fortunate in being being able to have him serve us in the councils of state under the great dome in the Capitol City. We ask the voters to give careful consideration to his qualifications and he seeks, when come to make up their ballot in the July Democratic primary. P.-T. A. Elects Officers
