.Another old and highly esteemed resident of the South Side passed away et an early hour yesterday morning when Mrs. Charles Mirtz answered the call of the grim reaper, after a tenacious tenacious but fruitless struggle. The deceased deceased was one of the oldest and best known residents on this side of the Roaring Brook, and the end was the more sad because of the fact that only recently she had moved into a handsome, handsome, new house at four hundred and twenty Cedar avenue but did not live long to enjoy Its comforts. : Her husband and the following sons and daughters survive: Charles J. Mirtz, deputy clerk of the courts; Henry Mirtz, Julia E. and Katherine Mirtz and Mrs. Charles Weber. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benedict Brand ley, and two sisters, Miss Mary Steimle andfMrs. Louise Scheuer also survive, The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock tomorrow, services being conducted by Rev. W. A. Nordt. Interment in the Pittston avenue cemetery,
