JohnP.Shafor,85, Taken by Death 'John P. Shafor, age 85, well known life long resident of Butler county, died Friday evening of general debility at a farm north- cast of Lebanon, where he had residing for some time. Horn in Butler county February 23, 1851, Mr. Sbafor had spent entire life in Hamilton and vicinity. Ho formerly lived on Dayton street and during his residence" in .bis city was an active member First ji. K. church. Mr. Shafor's wife preceded him in death in 1925|and one son, Albert E. Shafor,/ died just thref- months ago. Surviving rclaUvua^are one sou, Walter, New 3rK City; two daughters,,' Alr^xlC C. Moler, of Columbus, ''and Mrs. Robert Mceks, of Lakewood; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, William A. Shafor, Ira It. Shafor and L. C. Sbafor. and one sister, Mrs. Hannah Hughes, all of Butler county. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at tliu lioberl 0. Taylor funeral home with Rev. George B. Parkin, pastor of: First M. K. church, officiating. Interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening.
