For a time Mr. Loftus was In a very serious condition and it was impossible to reduce the fracture, for fear the shock would prove fatal. When the patient finally recovered sufficiently to stand the operation it was found that the dislocation could not be successfully treated. FronK that time Mr. Loftus was practically a cripple and his health gradually broke down. His death was not unexpected. The survivors of Mr. Loftus are his widow, one son. Leo, one step - daughter, Mrs. James Unntn and two , step - sons, Michael and Edward Holleran. - ' t' ' " ; -
