J. C. Jacob Dead J. C. Jacob, who lived northwest of Emporia. died on the way to the Newman Memorial County hospital Monday night at 8:30 o'clock. Mr. Jacob was born March 13. 1877. near Neoshc Rapids, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Jacob. Ke lived around Emporia and Lyon county his entire life. Ke married Coral Batch in Emporia. Mrs, Jacob died November II. 1943. Surviving Mr. Jacob are one son, Cleo Jacob, northwest of Emporia; one daughter, " 'rs. Thelma Strube. of ClaflSn; one sister. Miss Mabel Jacob, of Neosho Rapids: four brothers, Eimer Jacob, of Neosho Rapids: Sam Jacob, Rt. 1; E<5 Jacob, South Sylvan; Jacob, of Baldwin; and Amos granddaughter granddaughter and four grandsons. FuTierai services for J. C. Jacob who lived northwest of Emporia and who died Monday night, were held Thursday afternoon at '. o'clock at the Roberts-Blue funeral home. The Rev. E. F. Buck, pastor pastor of the Grace Methodist church conducted the services. Burial was in the Neosho Rapids cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Jrwta GHe sang accompanied by Mrs. Glenn A.
