Arnold Weber Honored At Form Bureou Supper A farewell supper honoring Arnold Weber, former Tipton County Farjn Bureau Insurance manager was given by Farm Bureau Board members preceding monthly board meeting, Monday in Farm Bureau Insurance board room. Weber was recently promoted A.gency Manager for Howard - Tipton County Farm Bureau Insurance. Special guests were Mrs. Weber, Mrs. Wilma Bowlby, Messers and Mesdames Gene Whisler, John Woods and James Stoker. Whisler replaces Weber as Tipton County Farm Bureau Insurance manager, while Woods and Stoker have joined the Tipton agency as agents. The Board meeting was opened by President Ned Kemper with devotions presented by Max Crouch. Minutes of previous meeting were read by Mrs. Edith Johnson, secretary. A "Measure Your Candidate Meeting" will be held on October 16 at the Farm Bureau Insurance office at 7:30 p.m. All persons interested in meeting and talking to candidates running for election in November are invited to attend. The second annual "Farm City Night" will feature Dr. John Turbay, "The World's Most Traveled Man" as guest speaker on October 30 at 6:30 p.m., at the 4-H and Community Building. A pork chop dinner will be served and tickets for the event can be obtained from Farm Bureau Board members and the Farm Bureau Insurance office. Kemper gave a report on attending the Citizens Law Advisory meeting. Board members attending the conference of the Associated Country Women of the World on USA day reported on the two-day event held in Michigan. Theme of the conference
