Phila area man changes plea on one theft count Hiawatha King. 35, of RD 2, New Philadelphia, this morning changed his plea to guilty to the third count of an indictment indictment charging him with receiving stolen goods. King, represented by Ally Arthur Cunningham, continued not guilty pleas to one count of house-breaking and two other counts of concealing stolen property. property. Common Pleas Court Judge Raymond Rice ordered a pre-sentence investigation investigation and released King under a continuing properly bond. King was indicted by the April grand jury for acting in concert with Hernard Eggelston, 47, of Columbus in the March 16 burglary at the Dale Porcher home at RD 2, Newcomerstown. in whirh guns valued at $5000 were stolen. Sheriff's deputies searched the King home at Crooked Run and found some guns hidden under a mattress. Others were found in the trunk of his auto King said he had been drinking the night before and went to sleep in his car. He awoke at the Porcher property at about lOa.in. He said Kggelston called him to the Porcher house and handed a box to him and told him to take it to the car which implicated him in the thclt. King said at the time he did not know what w.is in the box.
