. Shelbyville, Ky., Feb. 1. (Special.) After being out thirty hours, the Jury in the Polly Miller will case brought in a verdict to-day to-day to-day signed by nine of the. twelve in favor of sustaining the will. The trial haa lasted eight days and over 100 witnesses were examined. Able speeches " were made by Messrs. P. J. Foree and L. C Willis for tho contestants, and by J. C. Beckham and-G. and-G. and-G. O. Gilbert tor the ' prbpoun'ders. - The trial of Van S. Bell, charged with the murder of Ben Williams near Hempridge last November, is now going going on. Only four or five witnesses were introduced on each side. Mr. Gilbert Gilbert opened the argument for the defense defense this afternoon. He will be followed followed by Mr. Foree for the Commonwealth. Commonwealth. L. C Willis will close for the defense in the morning and Mr. Peak, Commonwealth's Attorney, for the. State. -
