ISerfstrom-Mcdbur Mt. Morris, 111., Oct. 26.—Miss Mary Ellen Medlar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Medlar of Mt. Morris, and Leslie C. Bergstrom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Milversted of Byron, were united in marriage Saturday evening, Oct. 19, at 8 o'clock in the Methodist church, Mt. Morris. Rev. Earl Edwards, pastor of the Dundee Methodist church, assisted by Rev. Ridell Kelsey, officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Miss Nellie Medlar, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Miss Darlene Carman, of Rockford, bridesmaid. Lyle Bain was best man and Richard McCormlck was groomsman. Donald Medlar, cou- eln of the bride, and Leonard Pul- ver ushered. The bride wore a white faille gown with net oversklrt and fingertip veil which fell from a Juliet cap with appliqued butterflies. Her bouquet was white roses. The maid of honor wore blue taf- leta and carried an arm bouquet of pink chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid wore pink taffeta and her bouquet was chrysanthemums. Mrs. Chas. Baker and Mrs. Evelyn Rowland' furnished nuptial music. A reception for 125 followed In the church parlors with Mrs. John Hughes and Mrs. Ernest Mumma in charge. Mrs. Leon Medlar, the bride's aunt, served the wedding cake. The bride attended Mt. Morris schools and has been employed with the Oregon Manufacturing company. The groom attended Byron schools and served two years in the U. S. army, serving one and a half years in the Pacific theatre. After Nov. 1 the young couple will reside in the Riverside apartments, 401 North Third street, Oregon.
