The library leading from this room was used for lemonade which was served In an exquisitely painted china bowl on a table decorated with flowers The stairway was trimmed with gray moss. the dull tone being brightened by an intermingling of rcc berry-covered holly branches the artistic deoora tioa giving the appearance of 1 coals amid gray ashes. .Beneath' this rtairway the musicians concealed by East India palms banana plants and ferns discoursed delightful music all dozing ta evening. The long dicing room on the lelt presented i scene bewilderingly beautiful .with Its profusion ol flower and brilliant lkbt& The supper table's centre piece wise magnificent cuwglassand silver epergne filled with calla lilies and rich foliage. An other beautiful decoration was an immense cut glass bowl filled with Marescbal Nell and Id France roses and placed on a round mirror surrounded by glasses filled with rose colored syllabub. Another cut-glass bowl contained Mareschal rfeil roses and there was every lovely ornament .magi nable In he shape of handsome cakes and confections. All the a tables were adorned with flowers and the largest in the bow window at the end of the room contained a tall massive silver candelabra giving sol light from myriads of white tapirs and bringing out to still greater perfection the beauty a stand of glorious bride roses beneath. The tall carved mantel was adorned with vases filled with brilliant poniettta leave's and the center decoration was a tilting basket filled with rare and brilliant blossoms passion flowers pansies heliotrope azealeas pelegonlnms and palma violets. A walnut buffet was adorned with tropical fruits arranged in rare china and cut-glass epergne and bowls and the large sideboard opposite was brilliant with handsome diver and glass and contained as Its center ornament a large VIM of brilliant Ameri can beauty roses with a background of fresh delicate fern leaves. Every1 delicacy that could be thought of was wired to the guests in the most eiauisitestyJe.jind though many people were present the two large supper rooms enabled all to be comfortably seated. Never was an entertainment more enjoyed and the guests bode their charming host and .hostess adieu with hearty congratulations and sincere wishes that their wedding anniversaries would always b as.bright and that their happy lives might celebrate many more such years together. Mrs. Inman was very handsome In an elegant gown of mos green velvet en train with front of cut passementerie trimming over pale green silk. Miss Nellie Inman looked lovely in a Paris gown of pale gray saiin brocaded in large point roses and trimmed with solid old rose silk.
