of his West Bend Host * To 115 of Palo Alto Auxiliary :Wesf fieirtd — One hundred 'fifteen 'fifteen members of the Palo Alto auxiliary; units and some of the Legion posts were present at the joint Legion-auxiliary county meeting held at the West Bend Legion club Thursday. The auxiliary auxiliary meeting was called to order by West Bend's unit president, Mrs. Ed Nessen. Following the business session, a program was presented by West 3end. Weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Charlotte Bonnstetter were the Dwaine Andereggs of LaCrosse, LaCrosse, Wis. H. F. Anderegg, who has spept the past few weeks visiting visiting iff Wisconsin, returned to his home here with his son and familyj Mrs. R. W< Jurgens entertained the L. S. L. C. at their annual May Breakfast. . . Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Montag entertained the Friendly club on Wednesday evening. 500 was played with Mrs. F. Montag and Richard Bormann winning high and Mrs. John A. Montag and Francis Montag the low. The Richard Bormanns were guests. A group of girls entertained at a 6 o'clock dinner at Hotel Frank lin for the Misses Jean Balgeman and Maurine Layton who left Fri day morning for Colorado Springs Colo., to work. Following the dinner dinner the girls visited Miss Eileen Johnson, who is ill with rheumatic rheumatic fever and also called on Mrs. Roger Haag at Algona.
