TOLD $15,000 FIXING 11 Former Fresno Brewer Declares He Was Promised His License Back If He 'Decorated' PROSECUTOR HAS SURPRISE Los Angeles Inquisitors Given Official Notice of Some License Irregularities (By Associated Press) OAKLAND, July 8. Assistant District Attorney Ralph Hoyt re ported today a former Fresno brewer had told the county grand jury of an asserted attempt of three men to obtain $15,000 from him on the promise they would have his revoked brewery license restored, The witness, Hoyt said, was Emilio Giometti. The prosecutor said Giometti's bookkeeper, Miss Clara Pascenti, corroborated the story. Prosecutor Avers Indictment Asked Hoyt added that Giometti and Miss Pascenti had identified one of the three men and that the man named probably would be called as the final witness in the grand jury's sensational investigation of liquor enforcement conditions here.
