Six men were 10 days in moving it from the quarry to the less than a quarter of a mile and a gentle grade. Mr. Hickock is to out other large flag stones for Mr. Vanderbilt during the summer. It is said that but one Is.rger than this was ever handled, and was laid in Chicago before the fire. This was 16x25 feet, and was quari led near that city.
