PRESIDENT GIVES DIPLOMAS After a speech that was well chosen and well received, delivered by the class teacher, Herbert L. Healey, the address to the class was given by S. A. Stowell, president of the Covina board of education." He' told ' them many good facts that will stand them in good stead in the future, and praised the class for its high efficiency and devotion to the work of the institution. He then presented .them with diplomas, after which the bejnedic- tion was pronounced by Rev. 'D. F. Stafford of the Christian church. A wealth of flowers were given to the class, the wonderful blossoms being brought in from the corridors until the stage was piled high with the blooms.
