Calhoun, old and highly respected citizen of this (Gonzales) county, was in town this forenoon apparently good health, and started home at o'clock this afternoon. At 2 o'clock his lifeless body was found in the road by one A. Burleson. The coroner's jury rendered the following verdict: That said E. I/.
