Kennedy Mary Louise Kennedy, 8G Mary Louise Kennedy, 86, long time resident of Iowa City, died Tuesday, September 27, 21X15, at her apartment in Melrose Meadows due to complications from a broken hip. She passed away peacefully siurounded by her loving family and devoted cat. Services for M;iry Louise Kennedy will begin at 11:00 am today at Trinity Episcopal Church and the burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Her body will lie cremated. She was bom Mary Louise Sheets on October 16, 1918, in Davenport, the daughter of (ieorge M. and Louise Baird Sheets. She married Robert R. Kennedy on June 21, 1942, at Trinity Episcopal Church. She wits a graduate of Iowa City I Iigh School and the University of Iowa witlt a degree in music and was affiliated with Alpha Xi Delta stx-ial sorority. Mary Louise was a devoted wife and mother, a true home-maker, who also taught pimio lessons for many years. In her retirement, she worked part-time for the University of Iowa in the Registrar's Office. Survivors include five children; her sons James and wife, Margaret, of Sumner, Richard and wife, Cindy, of Buford, GA; and David and wife, Cristina, of Chicago, II; her daughters Patricia McBride of Pleasanton, CA; Carol Keenan and husband, Patrick, of Liberty, Mo; One sister, Jeanne McDonough of Bloomington, MN; 10 Grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Mary Margaret, William, Elizabeth, Susan, Katie, Graham, Sean and Ryan,; 4 Great-Grandchildren, Madelynn, Joshua James, Cynthia Kay and Rebecca; and three Nephews, Steve, Ken, and Larry.
