Harold B. Evans STOCKTON—Harold B. Evans of Stockton, a maintenance foreman foreman for Chicago Great Western Railroad, died in his home Sunday Sunday of an apparent heart attack. attack. He was born April 3, 1901, in Woodbine Township, son of Richard Richard and Edith (Beebe) Evans and married Emma Leonard in December, 1930, in Woodbine. He had lived in Stockton most of his life. Mr. Evans was a member of Stockton Methodist Church, Methodist Men's Fellowship Group and Stockton American Legion and Brotherhood of Maintenance Maintenance of Way of which he served as secretary-treasurer for many 'years. He was also local chairman and vice chairman chairman of Grand Lodge. Surviving are his wife; a son, Paul, of Rockford; two granddaughters; granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Jarnicke of Globe, Ariz. He was preceded in death by a brother. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday Tuesday in Hermann Funeral Home with Rev. D. James Fitzhugh, pastor of Stockton Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Ladies Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 o'clock today. A memorial has been established established for the Heart Fund.
