ILL HEALTH BLAMED AS HERSHEY EMPLOYE TRIES TO END LIFE Shortly before the Hershey National National Bank opened for the day, Paul R. Gingrichr46, went into the basement and shot himself through the mouth with a .38 caliber caliber revolver. Gingrich was taken to the Hershey Hospital where his condition is critical. Bank officials found Gingrich's accounts in perfect order and blamed his action on failing health. Gingrich has studied in several schools for the last twenty years and was an authority on banking systems and bank advertising. advertising. For the last six years he has complained of extreme nervousness nervousness which culminated in a nervous breakdown two years ago. Gingrich was employed by the Hershey Chocolate Corporation in 1905 when the plant was being built. In 1909 he was transferred to the Hershey National Bank as an individual ledger bookkeeper. He was a member of Derry Presbyterian, Church and an active worker in the Sunday School. Gingrich is unmarried.
