a her families as a -order was and PROPOSED BRITT CHURCH Congregation OKs new Britt church BRITT--An architect's drawing of the proposed plans for the Britt Methodist Church has been approved by the congregation. The center part of (he building forms a cross with four gables over the sanctuary. The educational educational service' areas which surround surround the nave have a flat root. The church will be of contemporary contemporary style, with a contained sanctuary seating 365 persons. Educational facilities will include include separate rooms t r o m nursery class through the sixth grade, a junior high activities room and a senior high room. Adult classes will be held in a social hall, which may also be used as an overflow from the nave. A church office, conference conference room and Â· the pastor's study also are included. Estimated cost for the building building is $212,400. This does not include furnishings. Robert C. Brosher of the firm of Thorson, Brom and Brosher, Waterloo, the architect. Members of the building committee are Gilbert Guenther, Carl Korneisel, Mrs. Harlan Stevenson, Mrs. Walter Hefti, Norman Lee, Max Barnett, Orville Orville Whitney, Alfred Champion, Floyd Rummel Jr., Ralph Anderson and the Rev. Warren Paige.
