F. Bondy of Florence, S. C., research entomologist who began the work here. Mr. Bondy died last week of heart ailment, after a severe attack attack several weeks ago. He had been connected with the Pee experiment station at Flovence for many years, and was widely fcnown among farmers as "the boll weevil man." Mr. Bondy helped to launch anti-weevil dusting and spraying campaign in Robeson county this season, and made inspection trips :o Robeson cotton fields before had the heart attack.
