MYRTLE ELVERTA McCON- NELt, 54, wife of Philip D. Me- Cornierl, of Indiana R.D. 1, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 1988, as a result of Injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Bom Dec. 30, 1913, near Hooverhurst, Indiana County, she was a daughter of Thomas Jackson and Eohsah Bennett Tyger, Mrs. McConnell spent the early years of her life In Montgomery Twp., Indiana County, and for over 35 years had been a resident of the Indiana area. She was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church. Her husband also died as a result of injuries suffered in the same accident. Surviving are: a son, Patrick P. and a daughter, Kathryn B., both at home; five brothers and three Campbell; sisters: Blair, Jerome, Erie; Glen Harold, Huntlngton Woods, Mich.; Oakley, Delmont; Gerald, AH- quippa; Mrs. W. D. (Dorothy) Anderson, Indiana; Mrs. Virgil (Louise) Conner, Glen C a rrt p- bell; Mrs. Micha.el (Shelby) Watral, Commodore. A brother Thomas preceded her in death. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana,, where the Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be offered at St. Bernard's Church on Thursday at 9 a.m. Interment will be made in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
