3 number this R.C, STRESSED PRODUCTION IN '42WTIVITIES With expanded programs of service work, first aid training, production of clothing for civilians members of the armed forces alike, the making of service kits for overseas-bound soldiers, the Junior Red Cross program and in regular chapter activities, the Adams county chapter of the Red Cross on Thursday closed a year Qiat has had no parallel in its history World War days. The newest project of the county chapter -- the making of surgica" dressings for Army and Navy has seen the completion of the initial quota of 9.000 and alread\ started the second quota of 7,200. The whole production program has been carried on by an 700 to 800 volunteer women and girls. Other volunteer workers handled the first aid, nurses' and home nursing programs.
