Rotary CREDIT WOMEN WITH $339,401 IN BOND SALES The Women's division of the Adams County War Finance committee committee sold $339,401.45 worth of war bonds during the Fourth War drive with one district unreported and incomplete returns from an- Gt,A*cr. .ten OA. t.l\c t»vCiVc Cii^t.r*c-3 submitted complete final reports. The bond sales were revealed the report of Mrs. Henry T. chairman, to Edmund W. Thomas, county chairman. Mrs. Bream's report is divided three sections, the sale of bonds the booths, sales made at schools and sales made in the rural areas. Gettysburg 1 Sales Sales at the booths at the Gettysburg, the Moose lodge and Murphy's store totaled $108.101.75. including a $50,000 sale to the Metropolitan Edison company. A total of $18.407.50 in sales were reported at the booth in the First National bank of Gettysburg and $7,762 in sales at the Majestic theatre. Gettysburg high school pupils purchased $19,231.25 worth of bonds, $14.824.15 at the Gettysburg grade and parochial schools and $1,218.75 by Aviation students at the 55th College Training Detachment. Total sales in Gettysburg were $179,545.40. In the rural areas ten districts reported total sales and one district district reported incomplete sales as follows: Littlestown, $41,892.75, including $25.000 sale at the Littlestown Canning company; East Berlin, $22.813,.75; $22.813,.75; York Springs, $21,549.80; Biglerville. Biglerville. $17,643.75; New Oxford, $15.417.75; McSherrystown (incomplete), $13,975; Bendersville, $6,968.25; Fairfield, Fairfield, $6,426.25; Cashtown, $5,350; Orrtanna, $4,436.50; Arendtsville, .$3,381.25. Abbottstown has not completed completed its final tabulation. Total county sales, $159,856.05.
