Creek In celebration of the one hundredth anniversary of the deed by which the Fouts famly secured the two hundred acre farm southwest of Deer Creek from the government the children of Silas Fouts will hold a family gathering at the old home Thursday. The land was originally deeded to George Fouts grandfather of J. Earl Fouts of Washington D. C.. Mrs. Cecil Stephens. Deer Creek, and Mrs. Mary Bell of Kast Chicago, heirs of the estate and present owners of the farm. Mr. Fouts is in charge of the division of the treasury department ot' the national government under which the First National bank Is now- operated. Silas Fouts, father of the three, was the second owner of the place. The farm is now oerated by a tenant but .)
