a Kodak Fever Went to Extremes With This Boy. A young man giving his name as Frank Haley and his home as Cherokee, Cherokee, Kan., was arrested last night on the charge of stealing a pocket camera alued at SI5, from Treat's drug store. He plead guilty before the police judge this morning and was fined $10 and costs, which will be worked out on the city rock pile. The young man entered Treat's drug store last evening and asked if he could obtain some old papers to spread -on the floor of a box car, where he Intended to pass the night. The clerk started to get Borne papers for him, but was Interrupted by a telephone call. Returning In a few moments the tranger had left. Shortly afterwards camera was missed and Haley was suspected. The police authorities were notified of the theft and were given a description of Haley. An of fleer startodon a search for the culprit and found him at the Santa Fe sta tion, waiting for an out-going train. Haley saw that he was being watched by the officer and when ho thought the policeman was not looking at him tried to rid himself of the camera He was detected in dropping It In the park adjacent to the station and Immediately arrested, confessing the theft.
