At his home on North Fifth street, at 1 o'clock Saturday morning, Brice Blair Briggs, a well known and popular popular engineer on the Bellwood division, died of typhoid fever. Mr. Briggs was a son of William H. Briggs and was born at Otelia, Pa. He had been a resident of Bellwood for some years and his death is a cause of sincere sorrow sorrow on the part of many fellow railroad railroad men and other friends who knew i and loved him. His wife and five chi ldren. Kdith. Fred, Blair, Sherman and Eva. survive him.
