Services were held August 31,9 a.m. at the Muehlbach Chapel, Kansas City with interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kans. a former had his months and on two stolen Elmer Mosier Elmer Lawrence Mosier was born in Thayer County, Nebr. November 27, 1898 to George and Rosella Beaver Mosier and died September 5, 1981, at the age of 82 years, nine months and eight days. He lived his entire life in the Chester community. He was baptized November 8,, 1908, was a member of First Christian Church in Hebron. He attended rural schools in Kansas and Nebraska, Chester High School and Cotner College, Lincoln, Nebr. On February 9, 1921 he was united in marriage to Loan-a M. Naysmith, Chester, Nebr. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in February, 1981. To this union were born two daughters. He was preceeded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife Loan-a, 2 daughters, Mrs. Keith (Grace) Morehead, Belleville and Mrs. Dean (Melba) Versaw, Loveland, Colo.; a brother, Alfred T. Mosier of Bdwmount, Calif., and step sister. Dorothy Halman of Emporia; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were September 8 from the First Christian Church in Hebron, Nebr., Rev. Franklin Witter officiating. Frank Eastman Frank Eastman, Twin Falls, Idaho, a former Republic County resident, died September 7. He is a brother of Dale Eastman, Belleville. Arrangements are pending. Edward J. LaBonte Edward J. LaBonte, Concordia, died September 8 at St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia. He was 69. He was a former employee of Ball Truckline, Belleville. Funeral services will be Friday, September 11, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia. Concordia. Interment will be in Concorida Cemetery. Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, is in charge of arrangements. Anna Blakslee Mrs. Anna J. Blakslee died September 8 at Republic County Long Term Care Unit, Belleville. She was 99. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Fred Emery, Belleville. Arrangements are pending from Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Home, Belleville.
