From Property of Prado Postmaster Postmaster Who Disappeared Uncle Sam Gets $722 When Oscar B. Aldrich, who was postmaster at Prado, San Bernardino county, disappeared last June, he owed the government about $1400. Aldrich had a small country store and this was seized by his creditors, the fugitive being forced into bankruptcy. Yesterday Assistant United States District Attorney Moody in Los An- g.les receiced a check for $722.83 from the referee in bankruptcy, more than hair enough to pay the entire indebtedness. indebtedness.
