Orrville, by the Rev. Otto R. Gerber. pastor of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Reformed church, are residing on their farm near North Lawrence. The bride is the former Miss Carol Hershey. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merle V. Hershey of Orrville. Mr. Bechtol is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bechtol. sr. of Orrville. Baskets of flowers, palms, ferns and two-seven branched candelabra candelabra decorated the church for the single ring ceremony. A half hour of wedding music was presented by Mrs. Robert Shearer, soloist, who sang "Because" and i: 0h. Promise Me". and William Holmes, organist. Pink and blue was the color scheme carried out in the wedding. wedding. The bride's gown was of pale pink marquisette, designed with fitted bodice, high neckline, and wide ruffles which fell over tne shoulder. Her full skirt was .vorn over a hoop and featurec a bustle and a wide ruffle arounc the hem. A quaint bonnet with scalloped brim and tiny pink rose bud trim held a finger tip veil anc she wore pink mitts and carrier a lace handkerchief loaned by he aunt. Her flowers were white ros n the evening 100 of their friends came in for an old fashioned house- varming. The bride wore a green 'aille dress with a green and white ersey blouse. Her accessories were black and white and she uore a corsage of white roses "rom her bouquet. Mrs. Bechtol. jr. was graduated from Orrville high school in 1947 and attended Spencerian School of Commerce in Cleveland for a year. Mr. Bechtol was graduated from Massanutten Military academy and attended Babson Park School of Commerce in Boston and Ohio State university. He is operating the farm near North Lawrence. Out-of-town guests were present from Washington. D. C.. Bristol, Conn.. Chicago, Detroit, Alexandria. Alexandria. Vs., Canton, Dalton, Wooster. o—o—o in of member THE ATTENDANTS were her sister. Mr?. Warren Lowther. as matron of honor. Miss Marilyn Ohrgren as maid of honor, and another sister Elta Lou Hershey as bridesmaid. Mrs. Lowther and Miss Ohrgren wore blue dotted swiss and Miss Hershey wore pink, all fashioned with fitted, sleeveless bodices, with wide straps over the shoulders. The full skirts had sustles and in back of the hemline was inserted ruffling of white pique. Their headbands of matching matching material were ruffled on the top. and they wore white lace mitts and carried hand bouquets of pink carnations. Little Jacky Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Jones, was Miss Duiiii Has Shower MRS. FLORENCE BUSH of 882 1st st XE recently honored Miss Fern Dunn, bride-elect of Morton Hines with a lovely pre-nuptial personal shower. The evening was spent playing 500 and bunco. Winners presented their prizes to the bride-to-be. Refreshments Refreshments were served by candlelight candlelight from a beautifully appointed table bearing a large spray of pink roses. Guests included Mrs. Valeria Fisher. Mrs. Hazel Eisenbrei, Mrs. Doris Snyder. Mrs. Evelyn Klever. flower girl. She wore a ruffled (Mrs. Elizabeth Hines and Mrs. Vir- dress of pink net and marquisette and a pink bonnet, similar to the bride's, was fastened with a ribbon bow under her chin. She carried rose petals in a pink and white basket. Kenneth Norton of Bristol.! Conn., was best man. Ushers were] Warren Lowther.
