Eight hours after they effected an escape from the state- state- prison, Archie Saffell and Arthur Udell were captured captured yesterday afternoon near Pope Station by a detail of guards from the Institution at Lansing. The pair took "French leave" whils working with a building gang at the Industrial Farm for "Women at Lansing. Saffell started started a term of from one to five years on March 8, this year. He was convicted in Cherokee county of grand larceny. Arthur Lidell was "doing" one to five years for third degree, burglary for which he was sent up from McPherson county.
