The year 1970 is the big year of the Census when, in accordance with constitutional provisions, a demographic record of the U. S., its vital statistics and many other illuminating factors will be made. Unfortunately, the census has been weighed in the balance and found wanting as a picture of total accuracy and a year before the big count, it is enbroiled in controversy over methods and goals to be accomplished.
