Dorris is her name, aged 5, end with her brother aged 9 she was ripping up an old sack. The shears slipped and penetrated her left eye. Medical help was called and the eye treated, but it was impossible to save the member. Monday of this week the child was taken to Bryan to a aptcislUt who performed an operation removing the eye. The child ia a bright little dear and her misfortune greatly shocks that community.
