.Alexander. With the passing away of Albert B. Alexander, Washington Washington County has lost a good citizen, citizen, the Methodist Church a faithful and devout member, and the family a kind and tender father. Brother Alexander was converted many years ago and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, at Pleasant Grove, and lived a faithful faithful member to the end. He was nearly sixty years old. He died September September 16, 1918,. and was buried at Pleasant Grove on the Roper charge. He leaves a widow, three sons and five daughters to mourn their loss. May the good Lord comfort the bereaved family. N. L. Seabolt, I'. C. McAUstcr. Nathan T. McAlister was born October 2, 1890. Died in. Camp Meade September 28, 1918. Aged 27 years, 11 months and 2 5 days. He was a member of Roper Methodist Methodist Church. Nathan was a young man that everybody liked. He had been in camp about four months. Would have sailed for France if it had not been for the epidemic of Spanish Influenza breaking out in the camp at the time. He was brought home and buried at Roper Church. Funeral services conducted by this scribe, assisted by Rev. G. II. Weaver. A large congregation of friends and relatives attended tho funeral.
