Bortner, Richmond, Va., were married Nov. 27 in the United Methodist Church at Mouth of Seneca, VV. Va. - The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe L. Harper, of Mouth of Seneca, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bortner, Glen Rock. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Karl Fet-terman, Fet-terman, Fet-terman, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Glen Rock, and Rev. Roy Hedrick, pastor of Mount Clinton, Va., United Methodist Church. The bride wore a white crepe and lace gown, with an Empire waistline and semi-full semi-full semi-full skirt. Her flowers consisted of white orchids and white pompons. Serving as bridal attendants were Ruby Harper, sister of the bride, the maid of honor, Shirley Harper, another sister, and Wilma Hedrick, who were bridesmaids. K. Eugene Green served as best man and Stanley VV. Bortner Jr., Earl Balserait and Thomas Strouse were ushers. A reception was held in the church social room, after which the couple took a trip to New York. A graduate of West Virginia University, the bride has been employed as. a home economist with the Agriculture Extension Assn. in Lancaster County, Va. The bridegroom is a graduate of Salem, W. Va., College and is a teacher in the Henrico County School system in Virginia.
