Mrs. Peeler Frances Louise Galloway Peeler of 60 Crestmont Ave., died unexpectedly Friday In an Asheville hospital after an extended illness. A native of Fort Smith, Va., and a resident of Asheville for 14 years, she was a former employee of Rose's Store Inc. at Westgate. She was a member and past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star No. 191 and was a member of the White Shrine. She was a daughter of the late John P. Galloway Sr. Surviving are her husband, the Rev. E. O. Peeler; a son, Alfred Owen Peeler of Charlotte; Charlotte; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Peeler of the home; her mother, Addie Louise Soloman Galloway of Morganton; two brothers, John P. Galloway Jr. and William Galloway of Morganton; Morganton; three sisters, Mrs. Ernest Pitts of Glen Alpine, Mrs. Robert Rhodes of Morganton Morganton and Anna Lewis of Prince George, Va. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Trinity United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, teacher of the Abernethy Sunday School Class and past president of the United Methodist Women. The Revs. William Pheagan and J. W. Braxton will officiate. Graveside Graveside rites will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Hollybrook Cemetery in Llncolnton. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p. m. Saturday at Groce Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Pisgah Girl Scout Council or to Daniel Boone Boy Scouts of America.
